As penance for recent serious posts, and in a shameless attempt to lure you to the site with a new post without investing any time of my own, I give you two of our eight house pets. As a point of reference, the smaller of the two weighs about eighteen pounds. Fortunately, all sweetness.

The spot in front of the woodstove is quite popular. Better get your seat early.

Love this photo, Wish I could hug both of them. Miss my dogs. Hope to get one when my kitties go to the “Happy Hunting Grounds”. I have a black and white kitty, Socks that was a ferral cat for nine years. I fed him all this time, but he would not let me near him. Well, a couple of years ago we added a porch across the front of our house. He decided we had built that porch for him. Had his own little house to sleep in. Last summer we decided to see if he would stay in our garage. He took to that as the old saying goes “white on rice’, so this winter he was not only out of the weather, but had his own heated room as we ran an electric stove for him. I can pet him now and he gives me hugs on my legs and wraps his long tail around them. Tomorrow though he is going to be in for a shock as I am going to try to get him to the vet to get shots and a good going over. Hope he won’t be too mad at me.
Love,
